This is a fixed-term, Guaranteed Hours post for 12 months. The post holder will be guaranteed 200 hours over the period of engagement.

Applications are invited for the position of Human Testing Technician, based in the School of Philosophy, Psychology and Language Sciences to assist Dr. James Kirby on his EU-funded project “The emergence and evolution of linguistic tone”.
The successful candidate will have previous involvement in the preparation, set up and running experiments with human participants, as well as experience with experimental stimulus presentation and data processing software packages, such as OpenSesame, DMDX or E-Prime.
Interviews are expected to be held week commencing 12th August 2019.
