We have an exciting fixed term opportunity for an Information Security Co-ordinator within CiCS.


Working closely with University Information Security and Data Protection teams, you will be the face of the Cyber Security


Programme in the Faculties and Professional Services. You will assist staff and nominated ‘Information Champions’ with


various Cyber Security Programme activities, which will help improve a range of cyber security capabilities including


governance, compliance, assurance, technical capability, operations and engagement.


This programme of work is strategically important to the University and will deliver a step change in the University’s cyber


security capability. The improvements will ensure that the University continues to defend itself from cyber security threats,


and continues to effectively use information, data and systems for the delivery of its strategic goals.


You will have:

# Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

# The ability to assess and organise resources, and plan and progress work activities.


# The ability to operate flexibly and work creatively with others to develop solutions where problems arise.


You will report to one of the Business Relationship and Faculty IT Managers, and work within CiCS but a lot of your time will


be spent with Faculty colleagues supporting their Cyber Security Programme activities and promoting good working


practices.


Secondments will be considered for internal candidates; however, you must have the approval of your line manager prior to


submitting your application.
