IoT Portfolio Manager - Connected Car Services - 000000189789IoT Portfolio Manager – Connected Car ServicesNewbury HQRole ProfileVodafone combines the world's largest mobile network, outstanding technology and a long track record of success in IoT.  Our proven expertise means we can confidently connect our customers to the services and products they need. We are now seeking an IoT Portfolio Manager to work with one of our most exciting product areas, Connected Car Services. You will lead on the Connected Car Services product portfolio to define and execute the product strategy, product roadmap, product lifecycle management & customer satisfaction, while also working closely with your manager to execute against the IoT portfolio strategy. To be selected for this role, you must be someone who has a background in B2B2C services, or automotive/ connected car related services.  You will have had experience developing a product strategy or commercial management in the aforementioned areas. You will have experience working with other internal functions (e.g. Technology team) to achieve your objectives, and be capable of navigating a global matrix organisation to leverage collaborative working relationships and bridge gaps to ensure positive outcomes. The position is based at Newbury HQ, however we have some flexibility to base the role from other sites (i.e. London) for exceptional candidates, but the expectation will include a regular presence in the Newbury. You will enjoy a fantastic salary and benefits package with Vodafone, and incredible working environment at the Newbury HQ – with onsite gym, barista style coffee shops, canteen and even a hair salon. You will work with a frontrunner in the IoT market, and play a key role in shaping the landscape for our Enterprise IoT solutions. You will:Be responsible for Vodafone’s portfolio strategy for Connected Car Services, to ensure that Vodafone develops and maintains leading IoT Connected Car (e.g. Autonomous Vehicles, Connected Car, V2X) products that can be delivered with industrial scale and efficiency to global markets and help achieve the BU’s market share and sales objectives.Lead the strategic development of Vodafone’s Connected Car products and services, based on superior understanding of customer needs, technology capabilities and market trends.Measure and assess the performance of Connected Car products and services in terms of customer satisfaction, product profitability and market competitiveness.Be able to articulate product performance requirements to all parts of Vodafone’s development, delivery and operations organization.Own and represent the IoT Connected Car services strategy both internally and externally, to secure understanding of product capabilities amongst internal stakeholders, customers and analysts. Key accountabilities:Connected car services strategy and roadmapConnected car services product profitability and product lifecycle managementCustomer satisfaction/ NPSMarket competitive situation, capability requirements and trends You will have:Demonstrable Product Management and strategy experience in automotive IoT technology and/or Connected car servicesAbility to develop concepts into services based on an understanding of the business and customer requirements.Exposure to IoT applications, delivery systems and operational processesUnderstanding of how IoT supports various industry verticalsManaging in multi-market and global environments Qualifications:University degree in management field or equivalent will be good to have   About us: Here at Vodafone Group we create connections, as the parent company, to all our Global operations.
