Bridgeway Consulting have an opportunity for a motivated, bright, dynamic IT Technician to work at our Head Office in Nottingham. If you are organised, a finisher, have good computer skills and have a desire to learn and develop, then this could be the job for you! Bridgeway are looking for an IT Technician to assist in day to day operations of all IT systems and user support. The Technician will be tasked with ensuring the company computer and telephony systems run smoothly and to help with ongoing projects within the team. Desirable Skills • Basic Hardware knowledge• Understanding Networking• Office 365 Administration Experience• Familiar with Active Directory• Windows Operating Systems (Especially Windows 10) Key Accountabilities: • Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners.• Ensuring that all fault tickets are dealt with• Planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance upgrades.• Talking to clients and end users to determine the nature of problems.• Responding to system breakdowns.• Investigating, diagnosing and solving computer software and hardware issues.• Repairing (where possible) equipment and replacing parts.• Checking computer equipment for electrical safety (PAT Testing).• Maintaining records of software licenses.• Managing stocks of equipment, consumables and other supplies.• Managing equipment issue and replacement.
