Junior Sous Chef.
Connect Appointments are working with our luxury Hotelier client for a passionate, driven, career minded Junior Sous Chef to join their expanding operations, at this stunning five star location at this beautifully situated, Scottish Highlands venue.
The Junior Sous Chef role is a hands on, helping lead the Head Chef a quality focused brigade constitutes 10 dedicated staff. The two key areas of focus for the role are the ongoing gastronomic food creation/standards and team development management. These are the areas of responsibility for the role, and part of the ethos of the Head Chef to train, promote, and nurture talent from within.
The Food is of 3 Rosette standard, modern Scottish/classical and is all created within. Using classical french influenced methods and techniques to create memorable gastronomic experiences for the patrons to the luxury Hotel. The aim is to progress to Michelin levels in future, so this role would benefit someone used to these levels of expectancy, and consistency of standards.
You will be working with one of the great globally recognised culinary masters and family in this unique chef roles.
Proven experience as Junior Sous Chef at 2/3 Rosette level with the ability in managing responsibilities and monitoring progress of others. Having current/past experience of working to Michelin standards would be highly prized by our Client. Possess outstanding communication skills, good leadership qualiities, whilst able to displaying up-to-date knowledge of culinary trends; and fresh food preparation techniques. Also able to demonstrate credentials in food, kitchen management, and health & safety training.
