The Logistics Co-ordinator undertake all duties in relation to importing and exporting conventional equipment. Liaising with sales, operations and customers to ensure consignments are prepared, delivered and received with correct commercial documentation on time and in full.
Prepare export documentation for sales order and adhoc shipments.
Co-ordinate with agents, customers and freight forwarders.
Responsible for checking system / delivery configuration is as per the sales order requirement once prepared by production / stores.
Arrange freight quotations for customers, sales team and agents.
Prepare import documentation for purchase orders and adhoc inbound shipments.
Posting sales orders in preparation for invoicing.
Prepare certificates of origin and legalisation of documents
Communicate with warehouse to have orders packed up in time for collection/delivery.
Arranging shipments and packing of finished goods
Posting sales shipments.
Make sure any stock movements are also made on Navision and book in any off-site containers.
