Description

Staff 365 are currently working with a logistics company for an Operations Director to join an established team on a permanent basis.

Job Title - Operations Director
Type - Permanent
Hours of Work - Monday to Friday 07:30 - 17:00
Pay- £58,000 - £62,000 dependant on experience
Location - South Yorkshire

Duties include but are not limited to:
Have the ability to source and convert new business
Ensure the maximisation of margins both current and prospective
Consistently improving current strategies, productivity and quality
Overseeing all sites
Ensuring compliance is followed
Ensuring the safety performance of the depot
Adhering to company policies and procedures
Management of the depot team ensuring effective leadership and development of employees meets the business requirements
Develop and maintain relationships externally and internally and also dealing with head office.

Skills Required
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate or have the following skills:

Warehouse knowledge and experience essential
Haulage experience essential
Oversee 4 centres
BRC Accredited
The ability to mentor, motivate and develop a team.
Strong leadership skills
5 years experience in a similar role
