Job Summary

Rennie Mackintosh Glasgow Central Station Hotel is a three star Hotel and will be going under major refurbishment next year. We are looking to recruit a Handyman / Maintenance Assistant to fix small repairs throughout the Hotel this will include routine work like changing lamps sanitizing shower heads carrying out visual inspections on fire sounders in the Hotel bedrooms, paint work, some electrical works etc. The candidate will report to the Reception Manager to ensure all maintenance issues are resolved throughout each day and expected to work closely with House Keeping team.

Job Type / Category

Requirements: Previous experience of working within a similar role is an advantage. Proactive & resourceful with good communication skills, good eye for detail & Team player PART TIME - DAY or EVENING WORK

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

Duties : To carry out light maintenance tasks such as painting and decorating, room refreshes, changing light bulbs, etc Maintenance duties as required within the Hotels.To action all maintenance requests as soon as possible as informed by the Reception / House Keeping wherever relevant, provide a personalized service to guests yo comply with any reasonable requests by Management

Salary: £8.50 /year
