Location: Herefordshire

Reporting to: Maintenance Manager

Purpose of the Position:

Working closely within the maintenance team of the park, the maintenance engineer will undertake park maintenance duties, ensuring that the upkeep of the park is to exceptionally high standards.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

Gardening/grass cutting/hedge cutting/tree pruning

Prune and maintain trees, scrubs and perimeter hedging

Maintaining park equipment

Repair and sweep communal drives

Pressure wash/clean units and verandas

Pressure wash/sanitise bins and compounds

Weed control

Undertake repairs to lighting

Ensure drainage ditches are clear and fully serviceable

Assist with caravan movements and waste pipe connections

Clear decking and debris from empty plots

Extend caravan bases when necessary

Undertake rod draining when required

Collection of essentials/equipment as and when required

General park cleaning duties

Dealing with external contractors

Ensuring adherence to Health & Safety regulations

Assisting customers with queries or issues

Promote & provide high standards of customer care/satisfaction, support, guidance and advice to all aspects.

Develop, encourage, promote and maintain polite and effective communication/liaison at all levels with external services/agencies, colleagues and stakeholders.

Personal Responsibility / Teamwork

To attend & participate in meetings, training & appraisal sessions as and when required

Ensure you work collaboratively with other staff & team members and participate in team and division meetings and activities

To report any service problems and make recommendations with regards to service delivery to your supervisor

Work schedules

To plan and work in accordance with work schedules established by the organisation, wherein daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly & annual tasks have been established and outlined

Hours of work:

(occasional weekends will be required)

Location: Cumbria, LA18 4LG

Holidays: 28 days inclusive of Bank Holidays
