Huntsman have a rare opportunity for a Maintenance Supervisor with strong leadership skills to be responsible for the safe and effective delivery of all maintenance activities across the site.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead and develop the multi-trade Engineering Technicians and Contract Support Team, in the most cost-effective way whilst enhancing HSE Standards and ensuring all Maintenance Team members maximise their contribution to the Manufacturing Strategy. Reporting into the Maintenance Manager, you will take an overview of construction, projects and maintenance and deliver the maintenance plan contributing to the production demands and constraints that ensures product make and raw material consumptions are in line with area priorities.
Additionally, as the Maintenance Supervisor, you will:
Develop and lead the maintenance technicians to deliver maintenance activities in an efficient manner
Respond to plant breakdowns, divert resource where required in line with business priorities
Manage maintenance contractors on site
Provide input to the turnaround manager and area planner for planned shutdowns
Coach the team in the effective use of the CMMS
Take the lead on continuous improvement initiatives within the maintenance department
Experience in managing Safe Systems of Work
Able to demonstrate strong leadership skills
Able to lead and adapt to change
Experience in an industrial role managing a multi-discipline team
A trade background, and experience in using CMMS software is essential
Able to communicate well with people of different disciplines and management levels
An ability to work in an organised and methodical manner and prioritise work effectively
