JOB DESCRIPTION:Abbott is a global healthcare leader that helps people live more fully at all stages of life. Our portfolio of life-changing technologies spans the spectrum of healthcare, with leading businesses and products in diagnostics, medical devices, nutritionals and branded generic medicines. Our 103,000 colleagues serve people in more than 160 countries.

World Leader in Blood Glucose Monitoring, Abbott Diabetes Care designs, develops and manufactures glucose monitoring systems for use in both home and hospital settings. We have a Centre of Excellence in Witney for the manufacture of electrodes and biosensors used by patients and healthcare professionals for the day-to-day management of diabetes. This is supported by our Commercial Hub in Maidenhead, home to our Warehouse, Sales, Marketing and other support teams.

As a result of strong business growth, industry-leading product development in the biosensor business and a long-term commitment to high volume manufacturing of Libre, our Warehouse facility in Maidenhead sees a hive of activity in relation to distribution of product to our Sales teams across our networks.

The Warehouse and Order Entry Manager will take ownership for all ADC Maidenhead warehousing, order entry and shipping departments, liaising with our centralised distribution hub in Delkenheim, and ensuring sufficient product flow into the warehouse to meet monthly demand. Leading a small team, you will fulfill the supply of Libre sampling kits to Sales teams and Customers, maintain stock levels at site, and coordinate logistics to ensure seamless and timely product movement.

To be successful you will be qualified to A-level standard or higher, and bring a breadth of Warehouse Management experience, from both a functional and people management perspective. You will bring with you experience of data entry, and the ability to work to timelines in an organised manner and demonstrate a track record of accomplishing your objectives. Furthermore, you will be qualified in driving a Forklift Truck.

As we operate in a highly-regulated industry, you must be able to demonstrate the ability to follow procedures and create accurate documents and records of your work. Healthcare industry is not essential, but experience of working in a regulated environment is advantageous.
