Job Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities
 
Managing client and alumni events including:
·         Identifying stakeholder needs and determining event strategy
·         Working to, and ensuring that others adhere to, best practice processes
·         Developing target client lists using CRM (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics), running BCG ‘approval processes’ and respecting GDPR
·         Event communications (internal and external)
·         Venue finding and liaison
·         Speaker support and logistics
·         On the day support including registration, greeting clients/organisers as needed
·         Response tracking and post-event analysis
·         Budget management including cost negotiation
 
‘Account management’ of a number of Industry and Functional Practice Areas including:
·         Contributing to and executing marketing plans which align strategically with business objectives
·         Responding to partner queries / requests
·         Curating and continually improving target client lists
 
Supporting the wider marketing team as required including:
·         Supporting the continued evolution of the CRM system including adoption and utilisation of business intelligence tools
·         Managing corporate memberships, sponsorships and other vendors as appropriate
·         Liaison as required across the global BCG marketing function (e.g. with subject matter experts, editorial team, counterparts in other countries etc.)
·         Actively working to identify and disseminate both internal and external best practice

Basic Job Requirements
Experience
·         3+ years’ B2B experience, ideally from a professional services environment
·         Strong multi-channel marketing skills with a focus on events
·         Running professional events at a range of scales (30 – 200 guests) and complexity
·         Customer relationship management (CRM) database management
·         Working successfully within a complex matrix organisation advantageous
 
Skills
·         Proven project and event management skills with the ability to work to strict deadlines
·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills with accuracy and attention to detail
·         Ability to interact effectively with senior stakeholders
·         Excellent influencing and relationship building skills
·         Strong analytical skills and ability to adjust approach as evidence dictates
·         Ability to come up with new & innovative solutions to existing tasks
 
Technical Skills
·         Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics)
·         Marketing automation software (e.g. Salesforce Marketing Cloud / Exact Target)
