BACKGROUND

This vacancy exists as an assignment until P1 2020 due to the incumbent taking maternity leave.

This is a great opportunity for a prospective candidate to get customer facing experience.  This role reports into Helen Goodchild, Customer Development Head for Co-Op and is part of the overall MWC Co-Op’s customer development team.

 

THE JOB

The role is responsible for managing the GSV delivery and instore execution of the Northern Co-op indirect and direct Societies. In addition, supporting the Co-Op’s customer development team in delivering sales fundamentals and administration.

The associate can expect to gain financial understanding in managing the Co-op Northern Society groups whilst building close working relationships across the wider Co-op’s customer development team. Organisational skills are critical to support delivery against the day to day requirements of running the account.

 

KEY OUTPUTS  

 

The purpose of this role is to leverage our Physical Availability across the Co Op society’s stores to unlock sustainable growth across all segments.
Lead the Perfect Store focus within the Co-Op team translating Perfect Store information and insights into action to be deployed within the team.
This is a trading role that will play a key part of the Co Op team KPIs, with specific accountability for the performance within the Co-Op societies.
Develops an understanding of the customer’s environment e.g. external trends, competitors and customers current and future needs which is leveraged to build shopper centric customer plans which drive mutual growth.
Manage and develop all aspect of Mars’ relationship with the Co-Op Societies to optimize the core activity plan agreed at Head Office in order to drive share winning out performance vs our competitors and the main Co-Op group
Develop tailored in store execution plans that drive category growth for the customer and share winning growth for Mars – particularly through executing our Perfect Store principles
Delivering a Best In Class Customer Experience to the Co Op trading team;
