Hain Daniels are currently recruiting for an NPD Technician at our Histon site. In Histon, we manufacture a host of ambient sweet spreads and jellies for our grocery brands. These includes Hartley's jams and jellies, Gale's honey, Rose's marmalades, Sun-Pat peanut butter, and the dairy free brand Dream.
As a member of the NPD team, you'll be working to support the team to develop and deliver ‘best in class’ commercially viable new or improved products from product briefs to launch.
Production of development samples
Under the direction of Senior Product Developers and NPD managers prepare pilot plant samples in response to product briefs, in line with critical path dates.
Update any required documentation regarding samples
Demonstrate the correct safety behaviours
Follow all Food Safety guidelines
Liaise with NPD teams across the site
What you will need for the role / what it will take:
A Level or equivalent in scientific subject
Relevant degree with placement evidence preferrable
Driving license preferred
Good communication skills
