Minerva Nursing are on a recruitment drive to recruit experienced nurses to fill a number of permanent roles working at CHDA - Centre for Health and Disability Assessments.
A fantastic opportunity has opened for a Nurse Functional Assessor to work within The Health Assessment Advisory Service carrying out assessments on behalf of the Department for Work and Pensions. If you are looking for a new challenge with regular hours, which provides an opportunity to have a good work life balance.
You will conduct medical assessments, examinations, and produce reports for the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) as part of a successful integrated team. Assessments focus on how a disability affects a customer's day to day life in performing work related activities. You will be meeting a variety of people every day and when you are finished for the day, you will close the door and have the evenings to yourself, You will receive full training for the job.
NMC Level 1 Registered Nurse with a minimum of two years broad based clinical post registration experience within the past 5 years. You will need to have experience working with adults in a range of clinical situations. The individual would need to be able to demonstrate recent experience working in one of the following; surgical, medical, community, practice nursing.
You will need to be IT literate with experience of using a range of software. Good oral and written communication skills. The ability to successfully negotiate and respond to a rapidly changing work environment.
