Description

Office Manager. Winners are looking to recruit an Office Manager for a very busy client based in Truro. With this role you will ensure the smooth running of the office on a day-to-day basis and manage a team of administrative or support staff.

Job role


- Organising meetings and managing databases
- Dealing with correspondence, complaints and queries and helping on the front desk when needed
- Preparing letters, presentations and reports
- Supervising and monitoring the work of administrative staff
- Implementing and maintaining procedures/office administrative systems
- Delegating tasks to junior employees
- Organising induction programmes for new employees
- Ensuring that health and safety policies are up to date and staff are working in a safe environment
- Training new members of staff and appraisals for the team
- Customer service (internally and externally

Key skills


- Reliability and discretion: you will often learn of confidential matters
- Strong communication & interpersonal skills (written & verbal)
- Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities & flexibility to deal with changing priorities

- Knowledge of IT, Telecoms and Data Management

Unfortunately, our client is looking for someone who has previous experience in this field and is not looking to train anyone to this level. The role is full time Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week and offering a competitive salary.
