We are looking for an Online Conversion Assistant to join our team and support the fast growth of our European omnichannel business. In this role you will contribute to the delivery of the commercial plan online and drive the success of a grand master (department) by delivering a best in class customer experience and bringing the treasure hunt to life online.


Desired Skills & Experience


To be successful in this role, you will have had experience in a market-leading online retail business and have a digital / web trading background. You will have supported preparations for launching new products to website and have a basic understanding of customer experience, content planning and web analytics. Key Responsibilities


Customer Experience, Content & Site Management


/ Work with Buying & Merchandising teams to have a thorough understanding of product strategies and trading priorities


/ Maximise product conversion through close management of photography and copy guidelines; working closely with the photo studio team to improve and streamline product enrichment processes


/ Own the visual merchandising of PLPs including management and optimisation of ranking rules and product placement


/ Feed in to the online commercial activity calendar to engage our customers and drive product category performance


/ With the Online Conversion Managers and creative lead, support the delivery of all online creative assets


/ Support the planning, briefing and execution of all online content with focus on SEO best practice


/ Make recommendations for improvements and optimisation of refine-by facets, onsite search, personalisation and product recommendations


/ Build and maintain relationships with other Centres of Expertise including Digital Marketing and Social Media, Loyalty, Store Experience and Campaign Marketing


Analysis, Insight & Optimisation


/ Utilise analytic reports, surface trends and themes in the data and offer insight & recommendations to improve conversion through journey and usability enhancements (including reduction of browse & basket abandonment rates)


/ Use insight on customer behaviour and category performance to influence Online Conversion Ms and B&M teams to drive continuous improvement and realisation of ecommerce business goals


/ Contribute to a test-and-learn programme to improve customer experience and maximise conversion


/ Use A/B test results and real-time campaign performance to drive maximum return from traffic by channel


Key Skills, Knowledge & Experience


/ Display an understanding of the marketplace (including competition and our position in the market as an off-price retailer) in order to deliver a unique and effective messaging strategy through online channels and support the customer acquisition and retention strategies


/ Be a voice for online customer experience in the business, influence key stakeholders through compelling insights and effective presentation of results in order to drive the online channel in line with customer acquisition programmes
