That’s why we’re investing heavily in it and we need talented people to help us deliver the next wave of innovation.   About the role As the Operational Governance Manager you will be responsible for the smooth running of the CIO (virtual) office.  This role serves as the liaison between the CIO and UK IT team, as well as the CTO Office, Vodafone Group and other key stakeholders throughout the business.  The role holder reports directly into the CIO and facilitates communication, plans business agendas, distributes information and ensures a well-informed IT function.   Responsibilities Serve as the liaison between the CIO and team, and the CTO Office, Vodafone Group and other key stake  Facilitate communication, plans business agendas, distributes business critical information Responsible for Internal Communications to the UK IT team,  Research and compose presentations, correspondence, speeches, announcements and even press materials from the CIO office. Suggesting more efficient ways to run the office and troubleshoot malfunctions  Leading on key strategic projects on behalf of the CIO  Key Skills and Experience Previous experience in a Governance Manager, Communications Manager or Executive Assistant capacity Project Management or Project Co-ordination experience Proven background of working closely with C-level stakeholders Experience of working in a fast-paced, global and commercial environment Excellent communication and presentation skills Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills Focus on providing excellent customer experience Understanding of how an IT function works Why Vodafone?
