Position - Outreach Support Worker - full or part-time contracts available

Location - Shropshire

Salary - £8.72 per hour plus £45 for occasional sleep-ins

Hours - 39 per week - Work full or part time covering different shifts throughout the day, evenings and nights spread across the week, weekends and Bank holidays. (08:00-15:00, 15:00-22:00, 08:00-20:00, 08:00-22:00 with occasional sleep-ins

About the service - This role involves supporting various individuals across Oswestry, Wem, Shrewsbury, Elsmere and Ludlow in their own homes who have acquired brain injuries, autism and complex needs. The shifts will either be fully at 1 service or half in 1 service and the other half in another service. This is due to not everyone we support having 24/7 support hours. Mileage is paid between 22p - 39p. Duties will include accompanying people activities, appointments etc. Assisting with day to day living tasks such as cooking and cleaning. Ensuring people are encouraged to reach their full potential. Personal Care (e.g. using the toilet, bathing)

Type of person required - Unless you live in Shrewsbury itself, it is essential you are a driver. We are looking for people with a caring manner and a genuine passion to support vulnerable adults

Qualifications required - Experience is more important than qualifications as these will be funded by the company
