Governance and Controls PMO
We have a new opportunity available for a Governance and Controls PMO to join a current International Transformation Programme. This programme aims to deliver a large scale technology transformation for the Finance, IMBO, Ops and Tech services delivering Settlements and Asset Services. This is a large programme which involves organisational changes in relation to the integration of a new platform. As a Governance & Controls PMO, it will be your role to mobilise and embed programme governance to ensure efficient, effective running of the programme across both Change and Service Delivery and to manage governance structure to align with changes in scope and deliveries as the delivery progresses.
What will you be doing?
Ensuring that the Governance, Controls functions are met and ensuring efficient, effective delivery of the programme in line with contractual obligations.
Defining and embedding the Programme Office deliverables, including financials, status reporting and risk and issue management processes.
Managing the programmes governance structure to align with changes in scope and deliveries as the delivery progresses.
Secretariat for Programme & Governance Forums and Committees; including meeting agendas, decks and minutes.
Change procedures are maintained
Stakeholder Mgt - disseminate project communication to a wide range of stakeholders, as well as to senior management and field queries and requests for additional detail
Weekly status reporting reviews and risk and issue management
What we’re looking for:
Use of Project Portfolio Management tools (e.g. HP PPM, Clarity, Planview etc)
Solid knowledge of project management methodologies
Experience of managing change in complex environment;
Understanding of risk management & regulatory demands
Experience with migration projects
Skills that will help you in the role:
Strong understanding of risk and issue management and how this is performing with senior/ challenging stakeholders;
Experienced owning working groups, updating of RAID logs and recording of meeting minutes
Where will you be working?
This role will be based in our Aurora house Glasgow office; a stones throw away from Glasgow Central Train Station and the heart of Glasgow.
