Part Time Legal Document Administrator/Document Production Assistant


As a Part Time Legal Document Administrator/ Document Production Assistant, your level headedness and exceptional communication skills will be fundamental, as you play a key role in the organisation and management of all documentation for this highly regarded Tunbridge Wells company – working within specified time frames, achieving strict deadlines. This role would ideally suit someone who has previously worked as a Legal Secretary or Legal Administrator.


Key skills and responsibilities:

Organising and prioritising your own workload, keeping a level-headed approach

Providing regular updates to fee earners and Team Assistants

Fast, accurate audio and copy typing in our house styles

Providing detailed handover notes for colleagues at the end of your shift to ensure continuity of quality and client care

Forwarding completed documents to an appropriate proof reader, ensuring the amendments suggested are actioned

File management processes including filing and scheduling

Preparing enclosures and any other document collation tasks as required

Proof reading

Travel between office locations as and when required to meet the needs of the business

The company operate between the hours 8am and 8pm. For this position, candidates must be prepared to cover the latter end of the working day, predominantly covering the 4pm – 8pm shift, although there is flexibility on the exact hours and days worked.


The ideal person will have prior administrative experience from within the legal sector.
