isement DetailsThe Payroll Officer is responsible on behalf of the Senior Payroll Officer, for assisting processing payroll documentation, for monthly paid employees, in a timely and accurate manner to ensure payment. This requires the Payroll Officer to prioritise their work on a monthly basis. The Payroll Officer requires having knowledge of the CHRIS Payroll System along with an understanding of the various Local Authority Terms & Conditions of Service, and also the legislation that pertains to the administrating of SSP/OSP, SMP/OMP, SPP and Pension Legislation.
