Performance Manager - 90215518

The role holder will have overall accountability for managing all aspects of current and future performance of one (or more) of the group’s operational 3rd party suppliers,
and / or
§ Managing specific elements of the current & future performance of one of the group’s strategic 3rd party suppliers.
§ May also manage regulators & internal suppliers.
§ All elements of agreed cost, service, risk, regulatory requirements to be achieved and stability to be maintained during delivery of change
§ Service & supply relationship to be developed in line with UKB / Group strategic priorities, generating value for both parties
Rigorous control of demand / budgets to be applied
§ This role provides critical experience and expertise to the Barclays collateral function during a time of Drive performance of the supplier to ensure delivery of ‘best in class’ service to the group, setting challenging but achievable targets aligned to agreed business requirements.
§ Lead the engagement with internal clients (and external where applicable) to define and agree robust business requirements and demand profiles with clear cost, service & risk metrics.
§ Proactively manage the client relationship to ensure visibility of the performance of the service / supplier, providing an end to end view of services where appropriate.
§ Ensure all regulatory / industry requirements are clearly articulated and delivered.
§ Proactively identify, mitigate & manage the service & supplier risks, undertaking all required risk / rigor activities, maintaining fully tested controls & business continuity plans.
§ Lead / contribute to the delivery of the service & supplier strategy that aligns to group objectives, collaborating with business stakeholders to secure sponsorship for the business direction, ensuring this is executed through the service / supplier.
§ Manage the commercial aspects of the relationship to generate value for both parties.
§ Competent Performance / Supplier Manager with technical ability to analyse large data sets
§ Managing performance of service / supplier
§ Generating / delivering value from 3rd party sourced arrangements
§ Ensuring change can be delivered into service / supply without impacting stability
§ Industry / market knowledge of the sector
§ Knowledge of Barclays business areas, key priorities & challenges
§ Understanding of the Financial Services environment
