This grants you access to premier offers such as up to 40% off Virgin Trains, as well as discounts on Virgin Products such as holidays.You’ll access our central online health and lifestyle platform covering healthy recipes, activity challenges, and support information around mental health.Feel ProudWe are looking for a Pharmacy Technician to join our multidisciplinary team at HMP Norwich who is currently registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council and has experience within a hospital, primary care or community background.As the Pharmacy Technician you will work on a wing/ward environment where you will be responsible for the administration of medication to patients and the associated medication management activities, including audits and stock checks under the direction of the Clinical Lead and the Pharmacist Manager.You will be expected to work autonomously within guidelines, standard operating procedures and Medicine Policy and:Work as an active member of the Pharmaceutical team to assist in ensuring the delivery of a legal, safe, high quality specialist prison pharmaceutical service which reflects National and local policy and priorities, taking into account the high level of security that must be maintained at all times Undertake provision of a medicines administration service to the patients Provide, in conjunction with the appropriate Clinical practitioners, a wing technician medicine management service on allocated wings Support implementation of medicine management strategy and associated services and projects across the prison Assist in the delivery of cost-effective prescribing, the medicines optimisation strategy and management of medication budgets Promote safe pharmacy practice within the prison including providing advice and training to patients and staffWe partner with the NHS to make a real difference to people in Norwich and we’re building a working environment where colleagues too can really feel the difference.
