The key purpose of the role is to drive revenue and EBIT by ensuring we maximise our pricing potential globally, whilst maintaining consistency and adhering to our overall pricing and brand strategies & principles.

A key part of achieving the above is to identify pricing opportunities through thoughtful and insightful analysis which incorporates performance trends, pricing architecture analysis vs peers and competitor pricing intelligence.

In addition the Pricing Analyst will assist in monitoring changing global macro-economic factors and making appropriate and reasoned price adjustment recommendations as a result in order to maintain global pricing consistency and protect group margins.


Work closely with product planning and merchandising to ensure an appropriate product assortment by price range is maintained

Monitor and analyse competitor pricing, in order to identify pricing opportunity for the business

Work closely with product merchants to manage the pricing relationship between the core currencies

Carry out analysis of internal pricing architecture and make recommendations for price adjustments as appropriate

Review key style pricing and performance with the product merchants incorporating appropriate competitor pricing comparisons and agree seasonal price adjustments as appropriate

Support markdown execution and markdown performance analysis

Work with the product teams and the BI pricing data team to ensure pricing integrity is maintained across the product portfolio and the different currencies

Review price change requests and work with the product teams and BI Pricing data team to facilitate a smooth implementation

Partner with Marketing to deliver accurate price information on product gifting catalogues

Support the Senior Manager in the formulation of the longer term Global Pricing Strategy

Assist the Senior Manager in working with the product finance team to provide seasonal pricing guidance and global pricing architecture relationships to be incorporated into seasonal and financial plans as appropriate

Assist in price positioning recommendations for new countries by undertaking analysis on relevant taxes and duties as well as local competitor price positioning


Degree in Business / Economics or related field of study

2 -5 years of Fashion Retail / Retail experience, preferably in an analysis / planning / strategy or commercial role

Working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint are needed to document requirements and prepare executive level presentations
