About RFT Technology
The Risk, Finance and Treasury Technology team comprises c.3500 colleagues situated in the major hubs of United Kingdom, United State, India and Czech Republic. We are accountable for the delivery of business change and technology transformation for Risk, Finance and Treasury Functions globally, working in partnership with our Business customers to develop and implement long term strategic IT solutions to help achieve the Firm’s strategic goals. We support more than 450 applications and a user base of 7000+ staff across all BUs, Legal Entities and major geographic hubs, enabling them to effectively manage capital and liquidity, assess internal and external risk metrics, meet regulatory reporting requirements and provide a strong Second Line of defence.
What will you be doing?
- Your primary responsibility will be to successfully lead the delivery of key business outcomes
- You will understand business need and facilitate definition and agreement of functional and non-functional requirements for each outcome. These business outcomes will often be regulatory commitments and require changes across the Liquidity Risk application landscape and be dependent on upstream and downstream changes.
- You will build & maintain strong and trusted relationships with senior business stakeholders and users; and work closely with the Liquidity Risk Chief Product Owner and leads from the Architecture and Engineering community.
- You will have responsibility to produce high quality actionable user-stories. This is a hands-on role requiring technical business analysis skills and manipulation of data received from data providers and reconciliation with other sources to assess its accuracy.
What we’re looking for:
o Knowledge of investment, corporate business banking or retail
o Hands-on experience with data analysis and reconciliation tasks and tools (SQL, Qlikview, etc.); reviewing & manipulating XML/JSON messages through an event-driven component architecture
o Communicate highly complex technical topics in a concise manner that stakeholders can understand
o Strong analytical skills and logical thinking to manage issues in a high-pressure environment
Skills that will help you in the role:
o Knowledge and experience of Liquidity Risk reporting e.g. LCR, ALMM, NSFR, PRA110, etc.
o Experience working collaboratively with the development team to continually improve processes e.g. branching strategy, DevOps, automated test-build & deployment, TDD/BDD, etc
