Overall purpose of the role will be to define the content and direction of change projects in order to support the high performance delivery of change projects between £5-10m Strategic Investment.
You will be working for Barclays Partner Finance (BPF) which is one of the UK’s largest providers of point-of-sale finance. It offers finance products via a client distribution channel that helps consumers by making their purchases more affordable.
BPF has the 2nd largest share of the UK Retail Finance Market and the 3rd largest share of the Independent Motor market. Its strategic intent is designed to drive business performance whilst evolving to meet changes in its external markets and operating within the Bank’s control framework.
What will you be doing?
Plan Change: Establish and anchor the change project to facilitate transition to the target state, whilst effectively managing the programme risks
Manage Change: Includes engaging stakeholders, from both the Business and Technology to ensure business and operational readiness in order for the programme delivery to be effective and also drive out the business case benefits
Programme Manage all aspects of a change project/programme, including Programme planning, estimating, budgeting, resource allocation, financial management and time management
Identify behaviours required to enable the change and where necessary coach and colleagues within the programme
Coach and mentor Project Managers on the skills and capabilities required by high performing change professionals
What we’re looking for:
Extensive experience of delivering programmes in excess of £5m
Expertise in a range of change management methodologies and tools, in experience of delivery through the use of Agile methodologies
Experience delivering complex technology solutions
Sound commercial judgment and overall understanding of the Financial Services Industry, particularly the business impact of the regulatory environment
Skills that will help you in the role:
Experience of working within a complex Financial Services organisation and understanding of the Asset Finance marketplace
Knowledge of Scrum and/or experience of managing a Kanban system
Experience of change governance models
