Description

Our client is looking for an experienced pulsed power engineer to assume responsibility for the design and development of novel machines used in their experimental progression.

The company has a long-term project to work towards futuristic power production; during their progress there are exciting projects afoot to develop new experimental setups. All the projects will call for novel approaches in design and construction as well as use of materials.

To contribute successfully to this highly-motivated team, you will have the following attributes:


- Good first degree in physics or electronics engineering from a well-ranked world-class university
- Significant experience working with pulsed power systems, in industry or academia
- Excellent knowledge of COMSOL, SolidWorks and analogue and digital circuit simulators
- Enthusiasm and desire to work in a dynamic real-world team environment This dynamic company is well-funded and offers a friendly working environment close to Oxford. This role is subject to vetting procedures similar to security clearance.
