Finance Manager - International Production - Central London

An exciting opportunity has opened up with an award winning TV Production Company based in Central London. This Finance Manager position is responsible for providing analysis and commercial insight, managing the monthly management accounts and business partnering across the business.

Key responsibilities:


- Responsible for business partnering within the internal production and management teams
- Provide analysis and commercial insight to the Finance Director and senior leadership team to aid decision making
- Manage and produce monthly management accounts, all forecasts, budgets and 3 year plans with appropriate analytics and to agreed deadlines
- Review deliveries and monthly revenue, contribution and margin calculations
- Ensure all project cost trackers are kept up to date with actual spend, estimated final costs and costs to complete and reconciled on a monthly basis to the finance system
- Manage, forecast and account for all secondary income streams, third party shares and royalties
- Manage and provide direction on the TV and post production pipelines
- Be across the financial and audit elements of all TV Production contracts
- Variance analysis and commentary of actual performance against budget/forecast
- Management and review of division and vertical balance sheets
- Manage, oversea and review the work of the TV production accountants and assistant management accountant
- Responsibility for ensuring the Finance Director and senior business leaders are across all significant variances and issues

Key skills:


- A fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with as a minimum 3-5 years PQE
- A background in TV production is highly desirable
- Expertise in management accounts, forecasting and budgeting, managing foreign currency budgets and cash flow
- Experience directly managing/supervising finance professionals is desirable
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Strong commercial awareness and data interpreting abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft office
- Ability to work in highly pressurised environments and to deadlines
- High attention to detail and ability to prioritise work load
- The ability to maintain and establish working relationships with both finance and non-finance stakeholders
- Establish great working relationships with Group Finance, the TV and post production management teams
