We’re looking for experienced editors to work part-time and remotely to review and prepare our new content for publication.
We're a growing online educational content provider helping parents and tutors across the UK support each child's learning journey to help them succeed. To date, we've helped over 40,000 children aged 5 to 16 with their maths, English and science. We believe every parent should have access to quality educational support that effectively helps their child succeed. As the helpful hero and parent champion, our mission is to be the most trusted partner for parents with the biggest impact on a child’s education. We’re looking to build on the great success we’ve had to date and want you to be part of it.
About the Role
Through our Content Management System (CMS), qualified teachers and 11+ specialists create our inspiring educational activities for EdPlace.com. These activities are based entirely on the 11+ requirements for the CEM or GL exam boards and the English National Curriculum. They are designed to help students master key skills and provide the best preparation for exams and success at school. We are seeking a team of Quality Assurance Editors to support the publication of these activities by reviewing them for grammar, style, spelling and linguistic errors, but also in assessing their relevancy to the target age group and skill.
The average EdPlace student progresses by 153% over an academic year. You should be attracted by the opportunity to play a key part in this through creating inspiring and relevant educational content.
You are responsible for making sure your work meets company brand guidelines, functions as intended for students, and is of the highest possible quality.
We’ll provide you with all the tools and support you need to curate the best content.
The role is flexible and ongoing. Work will be designed to fit around your schedule.
