Quality Assurance (QA) Officer (Pharmaceutical / Healthcare)

£26,000
- £30,000 + £8K shift uplift + Benefits

Permanent Position, London Based

Would you like to work for a leading Healthcare / Pharmaceutical manufacturer?


My client are a successful Pharmaceutical manufacturing business based in London, manufacturing a range of medicinal products, with a strong market presence.
Due to recent expansion they are looking to hire a Quality Assurance officer who will be responsible for ensuring compliance across daily operations and services requiring Quality Assurance (QA) involvement.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful, growing organisation with a strong portfolio of on market products, as well as a promising development pipeline.
The role will primarily provide QA support for production activities, but also to Warehousing and Quality Control departments, and ensure that all stages of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) are in full compliance with the principles of Good Practice (GxP) guidelines and other regulatory requirements.
You will provide QA support in deposition decisions, and the release of intermediate and finished products through the review of batch documentation, Certificates of Analysis (C of A's) and laboratory testing results.
You'll support production Team leaders in achieving GMP compliance excellence, and promote Quality Culture within the business.

This is a Shift Based role and you will be working on a rota that includes weekends and nights.
To compensate there is an additional shift payment with the role.


To be considered for this role you will need the following skills, qualifications and experience;


- Experience in a QA or QC role within either Pharmaceuticals
- Knowledge and practical experience of GMP & GLP
- Good knowledge of Quality Control Laboratory techniques, necessary for review.
- Numerical, analytical & investigative skills
- Ability to work accurately, with attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise and deal effectively with a varied workload

Good communication skills with the ability to form strong working relationships with stakeholders at all levels across the organisation.
You'll need to be approachable and friendly, with the confidence to challenge results and performance when required.
