Come and join our friendly team in the Ophthalmology booking management service where you will be helping our patients to navigate and book in to the Clinic areas at the hospital. You will ensure patient information is correct on the system, help with queue busting, cover reception – all in all provide a professional and patient focused front of house service. Learning all aspects of Ophthalmology outpatient pathways, from booking appointments, taking calls in the call centre and tracking patient journeys, we will train, support and guide you throughout.
We are looking for self-motivated staff who may have some customer focused experience but most of all are dedicated to providing an excellent service to our patients, relatives and visitors.
The post starts at a band 2 and when competencies are gained you will progress to a Band 3.

MEHT contracts are subject to the completion of a satisfactory 6 month probationary period.
All Registered Nurse/Midwife/Theatre Practitioner or ODP you will be required to take a Drug Calculation Test. (please note 100% pass mark required)
All HCA/HCSW/MCA will be required to take a Literacy and Numeracy test (80% pass required) as part of the pre employment process.
