Welcome visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone

Answer or refer all inquiries in a warm and welcoming manner

Direct visitors by maintaining employee and department directories

Maintain security by following procedures; monitoring logbook; issuing visitor badges.

Maintain a safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

First point of contact for JDi, managing expectations and providing a quality level of service

Be the first point of contact for any maintenance or equipment requests

Answer the phone and accept deliveries

Ensure stationary is fully stocked

Ensure the catering arrives on time and is laid out correctly, being the point of contact between Skylark and JDI

Order catering supplies

Update the Menu on JDIHQ

Ensure the cleaning is completed regularly and complete audits

Complete weekly net2 report

Complete weekly stock takes

Process internet orders

Main point of contact for all health & safety enquiries

Complete office risk assessments and review where necessary

Complete weekly fire alarm testing and ensure we are compliant in all areas

Support the administration of health & safety requirements including fire, first aid and liaising with contractors

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

Good communication skills

Accuracy, tact and discretion

Excellent interpersonal skills


Uses initiative


Competent with Microsoft office systems including Google Suite

Educated to GCSE level or equivalent

Knowledge of health & safety
