Description

The Lake Vyrnwy Hotel & Spa is a privately owned high profile welsh 4 Star Country House Hotel with 52 rooms. It hosts a large variety of special occasions such as weddings, corporate events, celebrations etc. The Hotel is uniquely located alongside the Snowdonia National Park, overlooking iconic Lake Vyrnwy and forms part of the 24,000 acre RSPB reserve attracting visitors from all over the world who come to simply relax or to sample a wide variety of outdoor activities.

We are looking for a Receptionist to join our very busy team helping us to deliver friendly, efficient customer service and to create a happy, warm and welcoming atmosphere for all of our guests.

As the guest’s first point of contact you should be pleasant, presentable and comfortable in dealing with customers. You will be a well organised and well-spoken individual. You must be computer literate (as administrative work will be required) and able to work well alone using your own initiative. Main duties include managing reservations, daily banking and reconciliation, checking in and out of guests, managing the Hotel’s busy email inbox, passing on local knowledge and information to guests and to work as a team with all Hotel departments to make sure our guests have a very memorable stay.

Our Reception team work a variety of shifts: early shifts (7.30am - 3.30pm), afternoon shifts 3.00pm - 11pm) and mid shifts (typically 9am-5pm / 10am - 6pm / 11am - 7pm) five days out of every seven including weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis.

We offer 28 days holiday, inclusive of bank holidays, a share of gratuities and pension scheme.
