An exciting opportunity has arisen to join one of the UK's premier Reconciliation departments, offering the chance for the right candidate to work in a fast paced friendly environment where they'll be charged with giving clients the certainty that their assets, whether held as cash or stock, are secure at all times. With no prior experience needed, this role is perfect for someone looking to take their first steps into this field and gain exposure to reconciliations across a wide range of financial instruments.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

- Ensure the timely and accurate completion of cash and stock reconciliations in compliance with CASS regulation
- Liaise with a variety of financial institutions to obtain data that underpins our reconciliations
- Collaborate with other departments to drive the prompt resolution of any discrepancies found
- Compile and submit regular CMAR returns to the FCA
- Monitor daily transaction reporting in line with MiFID II requirements
- Contribute to ensuring all relevant controls are robust, operated effectively and fully documented

Essential Skills and Attributes:

- A levels at Grade C or higher
- Competent using Microsoft Office
- Analytically minded, with excellent attention to detail and numeracy skills
- Good communication skills
- Possess ability to prioritise own workload and meet strict deadlines
- Be proactive & adept at problem solving

Desirable skills

- Degree level 2.1 or above
- Basic knowledge of financial services and the regulations that underpin them, especially CASS
- Ability to use initiative
- Willingness to learn and develop professionally
- Desire to contribute to the company's success and uphold its exceptional reputation & standard
