Forest Care Selection is working in partnership with one of the UKs leading care providers, that support children with specialist needs and complex care requirements. They’re looking to recruit a Registered Home Manager (Children’s) for 2 services based in central Manchester.
The Registered Home Manager (Children’s) will be responsible for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the children, ensuring that the quality of care provided is consistent in line with company and Ofsted standards. The Registered Home Manager (Children’s) will be a confident leader and will lead from the front in building a competent, motivated staff team. They should be able to identify any areas of concern in relation to child protection and should be experienced in liaising with local authorities, schools and external health professionals.
The Registered Home Manager (Children’s) will ensure that each child within their care, receives a personalised care plan in line with their education, social, emotional and cultural needs. They will also work with various professionals in ensuring that each child develops to their full potential. Furthermore, The Registered Manager (children’s) will take the lead in recruitment, training and inducting new staff members.
Candidates wishing to apply for The Registered Home Manager (Children’s) role, will need to have an NVQ Level 4 in children & young people, Excellent knowledge of care standards, including child protection and demonstrable experience of managing a similar service supporting children with BESD.
