Job Title:  Release Manager
Location: Radbroke

As a member of the Customer Contact team you will be joining a dynamic group that look after the end to end delivery of technology across the entire Barclays Contact Centre estate.  We architect, build, develop and release software and infrastructure for core voice platforms, speech and IVR applications and other customer interaction channels (e.g. Chat, Video) to give our customers and agents a consistent cross channel experience.

What will you be doing?

• Product Road Mapping - Accountable for the delivery of Product Roadmaps / Releases for future direction of the product.
• Supply and Demand Management – Receive incoming demand from Release Lead and responsible for all supply and demand of work into a large team
• Oversee all the service offerings of the release management e.g. setting up of Release calendars and Release plans, Managing Release related artefacts
• Work with the Release Lead in order to setup team objectives that reflect department strategies and improves the services.
• Improve processes and ensure best practices are up to date with the team
• Ensure no single point of failures in the team and there is continuity in providing the required services for the customers.
• Foresee risks and create risk management solutions as appropriate.
• Create product release schedule

What we’re looking for:

• Good hands-on experience of release management, deployment and Change management tools
• Good understanding on common infrastructure components and how they fit together and interact
• Experience in leading a team with people management skills. Coupled with this, the candidate should come across as calm intelligent and articulate with a strong telephone manner
• Be able to demonstrate examples of innovation and enhancement in their assignments.

Skills that will help you in the role:

• Previous contact centre experience
• Previous  experience within finance
