We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative and energetic research assistant to help with preparatory work towards two important projects.
First, you will help us explore different approaches to seeking consent to collect DNA from a secondary school based study, informed by our Genetic Links to Anxiety and Depression (GLAD) Study. You will run focus groups with students, parents and teachers, whilst liaising with other researchers including the lab team.
Second, you will support writing of preparatory documentation for medical record linkage for participants in the Twins Early Development Study (TEDS). This will involve focus groups, writing/editing of ethical documentation.
You will be based in the EDITlab, working closely with several other teams. We have a thriving research community, with a highly collaborative and supportive environment. You will develop a wide range of skills, and be encouraged to think about ways to support your own career development as part of this.
This post will be offered on a fixed-term contract for 1 years/months.
This is a full-time post - 100% full time equivalent.
The selection process will include a panel interview, an assessment, a presentation.
