Are you an experienced residential childcare worker? Looking for more flexibility in your schedule? If the answer is yes, then we need you!

The Role

Working with children who may have limited mobility and difficulty carrying out daily tasks. Working with children on a 1:1 basis in accordance with set care plans for each individual, and managing risk when appropriate. Carrying out some manual handling when required. Ensuring that the children are safe and comfortable, assisting them with any day-to-day tasks that they may struggle with. Supporting them in a caring and friendly manner with personal care.

A successful residential childcare worker will be responsible for:

Supporting the social and emotional needs of children
Co-ordinating with the wider care team
Ensuring children are kept safe at all times
Maintaining a professional manner at all times
Working to National Care Standards

Have previous experience working in a care setting with young people
Be passionate about supporting young children
Obtained NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care, or equivalent (desirable)
Be subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check and full referencing process
