Infrastructure Management Analyst
Do you have experience in Infrastructure analysis? Want to help redefine the future of finance? The Risk, Finance and Treasury department are looking for a strong Infra Management Analyst to join the Environment Management Team in Glasgow. You’ll be driving the organizations infrastructure strategy while delivering on requirements across the business. What will you be doing?
Facilitate RFT Application teams with Infrastructure demand and provisioning (Servers, DBs, Storage, CPU, Memory) for their day to day functioning and future changes.
Work with the IT Infra partners, Architecture and GTIS teams from submission to procurement and delivery of hardware.
Planning, Implementation and maintenance of IT Infrastructure solutions.
Communicating and accurately documenting all architectural decisions, plans, goals and requirements.
Recommending and facilitating quality improvement efforts. Stays up-to-date on future innovation efforts, Technical trends and apply this to direct future changes. 
Effectively communicate delivery status to stakeholders ensuring HW is delivered on time and within budget
Analysing requests (Physical/Virtual servers, CPU Cores, Memory, Network, Database) of RFT Application teams and challenge/submit accurate procurement requests
What we’re looking for:
Extensive exposure to Windows and Linux systems, MSSQL, Oracle, Virtualisation, Cloud technologies, AWS.
Solid and up to date IT architecture and IT infrastructure knowledge
Server Performance analysis and capacity planning
Experience of MS Office, Confluence, JIRA, SharePoint, 
Skills that will help you in the role:
Enterprise systems analysis, systems design and systems integration
Experience of IT application and/ or infrastructure maintenance
Exposure to large scale migration projects (Win Server upgrades, REHL Server Upgrades, DB Upgrades)
Service Now or Service First experience, and an understanding of ITIL or DevOps methods
