On behalf or our client based in Aberdeen we have an opening for a SAP Analyst to join them on a long term contract basis, which may have the option to lead to a permanent post.Applicants with strong Source to Pay or Procure to Pay analytical experience highly desirable however Candidates with from Procurement/Materials background with strong SAP Analytical Skills without direct S2P system experience are also welcome to apply.You will be part of a team who are supporting a significant initiative, aimed at optimising Source to Pay (S2P) processes and systems. This includes developing, supporting and optimising all S2P systems, to ensure the continuous enhancements and compliance to our current and future way of working.The role is integral to ensuring the Source-to-Pay process is successful as well as ensuring the adoption of company's 'Ariba S2P'.Core Duties and Responsibilities:Support Source-to-Pay System Lead in the following areas:Promote the use and understanding of Source-to-Pay Systems throughout Supply Chain and the wider business.Be part of the Ariba/SAP User Group.Work with internal contract stakeholders and suppliers to optimise Source-to-Pay systems.Support the development and execution of Continuous improvement strategy.Other Source to Pay tasks, as required.Support utilising 'Ariba S2P' software.Promote the use of 'Ariba S2P' internally and externally.Provide training and supplementary documents to support Suppliers to Ariba.Track Supplier transition to Ariba through the Supplier Enablement Strategy, this will include providing status reports.Manage Ariba Mailbox.Respond to internal & supplier requests/queries on a timely basis.As required, escalating supplier queries, to Source-to-Pay System Lead, C&P Manager, SCM and IT, as relevant.Support the development of FAQ list for Suppliers.Provide cover for Source-to-Pay System Lead, as required.Liaise with IT system analysts to ensure all technical software are implemented and maintainedSystems in scope:Primary: SAP MM, Ariba Sourcing and P2PSecondary: Nakisa, MDG, Blue Umbrella, SparesfinderMinimum Qualifications / Experience:EssentialSupply Chain Management backgroundKnowledge of Apache ERP systems - SAP/Ariba, or use of similar systemsExtensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint and outlookAnalytical skillsProcure to Pay process knowledgeAdministration backgroundDesirableFinance or Accounting background advantageousRelevant Higher education, HNC, HND, Diploma or degree (Law, QS, Business Studies or similar)Membership of a recognised Supply Chain organisation preferred (e.g. CIPS)Good understanding of Spotfire Software Programme.If this is of interest to you, please apply online with up to date CV.Roevin acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
