The Role

Biology/ Physics Teacher

Science is taken seriously at this school. They have invested well in the Science department over the past few years and have been consistently exceeding expectations a fantastic challenge for passionate Science Teachers with a real dedication to their subject.

A successful candidate will be a well-qualified teacher of Science who can teach Science confidently at Key Stage 3 and 4, eiher Biology or Physics as your subject specialism. You will be working in a well-resourced department with a highly supportive team. You will need to have the passion, commitment and dedication to prepare and delivering highly engaging lessons, enhancing the learning experience of the students and helping them achieve outstanding results. This is a temporary role starting in September 2020, turning permanent for the right candidate.

All applicants must have:

UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS.
Outstanding teaching and learning skills
The ability to teach Key Stage 3 and 4 Science
Physics or Biology Key stage 4
A valid enhanced DBS

Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualifications
