To support our future growth,we are looking to increase the volume of high-quality, original written content on our website and blog. We are seeking a Science Writer who can write with real impact to help us to produce more high-quality content.
We are offering a 12-month fixed-term contract with a possibility of a permanent position thereafter.
This is a science communication role with the primary purpose of supporting the Digital Editor in increasing the volume of content for the news section of SCI’s website and blog. The Science Writer will also provide editorial support in all aspects of SCI’s digital media activities.
We are looking for a graduate in a science communication course or someone with proven experience in science writing. The starting salary will be dependent on prior experience.
Due to the scientific nature of the written content, we are looking for applications from candidates who are comfortable with knowledgably writing on technical, scientific topics.
Experience of uploading web content would also be an advantage as a large part of the role will be supporting the team with content upload to our website and blog.
