Self Funding Trainee Dual Fuel (Gas and Electric) Smart Meter Installers required in your area, with guaranteed and permanent employment after only 6 weeks.

Deposit: £2,640 followed by 12 monthly instalments of £330 Or
Deposit: £660 (10% of course cost) followed by 36 monthly instalments of £202 Or Deposit of £660 (10% of course cost) followed by 60 monthly instalments of £138
to gain a:
Logic Approved Level 2 Diploma in Smart Metering
MOCOPA (permit to fit electric meters)
Gas Safe Registration (permit to fit gas meters)
EUSR Registration (permit to fit dual fuel smart meters)
Plus the all important guaranteed and permanent job in the metering industry.
These positions will offer you the chance to receive the highest standard of smart meter training with employment included, subject to you passing the course examinations. Do not worry though because over 200 self funding trainees have undertaken and passed this training in the past 3 years, from all walks of life, including; Nursing, Teaching, Factory Workers, Musicians, Sports people, so nearly anyone can become a smart meter installer.
Interviews with the Metering Company and pre-course Assessments will take place prior to any course starting or fees have to be paid.
These assessments and interviews will include a technical test to assess your suitability for the course and training involved.

Training will be to the highest standard available and this is a mix of both classroom and field based mentored installations (with the end employer).
Classroom Training takes place at an established and approved training centre called ECTA Training in Stockport (near Manchester) for the first 6 weeks.
Here, you will receive intense training on smart metering installations to enable the smooth progression from trainee into full employment.
You will be required to cover your own accommodation costs during this time and the Training Centre have a wide range of local options available to meet all price ranges.
After the first 6 weeks, you will then spend one week with your new employer, undertaking their Health and Safety Training, including Driver Training too.
At this point you will be in permanent employment on a starting salary of £20,000 and take possession of your Company Van too.
The following week you will start your field based mentored installations with a fully qualified meter installer and you will be installing meters into real homes and learning the job first hand. You will be required to photograph everything you do and write up a report on every job you work on.
This mentoring period will last for 6 weeks.
You will then return back to ECTA for your final examinations. By which time you will have lots of experience and all the skills to pass your tests. But if you don't pass first time, the Trainers will work with you to ensure you are confident and ready for a re-test.
Once the Course and Qualifications are completed you will then be ready to start working as a Dual Fuel Smart Meter Installer
Salary and Benefits
£20,000 salary (week 7 to week 26)
£28,000 salary (week 27 to week 52)
£32,500 salary (week 53 onwards)
20 days paid annual leave plus 8 Statutory (Bank) Holidays

Applicant Minimum Requirements
To be considered for these training courses you must meet the following criteria:
Be able to pay for the full cost of the course (or use funding option), prior to starting training (£6,600 including VAT)
Have a Full UK Driving License with less than 4 penalty points
Have a legal right to work in the United Kingdom
Be aware that you will not be paid during the 6 weeks classroom part of the training
Have a basic technical skill level (good a DIY, Mechanics or other hand skills)
Have a good basic understanding of English and Mathematics
Not be Colour Blind (testing will take place on the assessment day)
