Monarch Education are currently seeking an experienced SEN Primary Teacher to work full-time on a long-term basis within a SEN School in North Bristol. This SEN school caters for Secondary SEN Pupils with SEMH (Social, Emotional, Mental Health) needs.
The daily rate of pay for this job will be between £100 – £130 per day depending upon experience.
The hours for this job role are between 8.30am – 3.30pm Monday – Friday term time only, with the expectation to sometimes work until 4.30pm if there are meetings etc to attend.
This job will entail teaching a lower attaining class of KS4 pupils who are currently learning at a Primary Model. The right teacher for this role will be competent across all aspects of the curriculum & have experience and the skill set as a teacher to work with pupils with high levels of Social, Emotional & Mental Health Difficulties as well as Challenging & Disruptive Behaviour.
As the Teacher of this class you will be supported by a Teaching Assistant, Monarch Education are looking for a Teacher that is:
– Motivated to ensure pupils remains focused & make progress
– Confident in building effective relationships with pupils
– Engaging to keep pupils engaged & committed to learning
– Committed to ensuring pupil inclusion
– Patient & experienced in using Positive Behaviour Management to motivate and focus pupils
If you have undertaken Team Teach training, this would be an advantage but is not essential.
