A school in Blackpoolis looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant.

The position is for a minimum variable hours of 15 hours per week. However, the position will initially require 32.5 hours per week, subject to review.

The schoolis a special school for pupils aged 4 to 16 years with a wide range of learning and complex needs.There arecurrently 101 pupils on roll.

The hours of work will be 8.30am to 3.30pm.

All staff in school are expected to be flexible, in order to be able to meet the needs of all pupils. The school are therefore looking for an enthusiastic, flexible and committed Teaching Assistant, who preferably has experience of working with children with Special Educational Needs. It would also be advantageous if the candidate also had experience of report writing and excellent computer skills as they are looking for someone who can also assist with the submission of bids and funding for the school.

Essential Qualifications5 GCSEs (including a minimum of Grade C in Maths and English)

Desirable QualificationsA recognised Level 2 qualification relevant to the post
