Description

Are you a qualified and experienced SENCo looking for a part-time position? Or have you recently completed your National SENCo qualification and are wanting to put it into practice?

Then this could be the perfect role for you!

I am currently working with a modern primary school in Watford who are looking to recruit a part-time SENCo for Monday - Wednesday. The role is to start in January and is initially until the end of the academic year, although it is likely this will become permanent in September.

Identify and adopt the most effective teaching approaches for pupils with SEN and share the approach with colleagues
Monitor teaching and learning activities to meet the needs of pupils with SEN
Identify and implement interventions that will develop pupils learning
Ensure the school SEND register is up to date
Take the lead in constructing the schools provision map ensuring intervention programs target the right pupils
Provide training opportunities for learning support assistants and teachers to learn about SEND and work with other colleagues to deliver training on specific intervention programsRequirements:
