JOB PURPOSE/ROLE Based in London and reporting directly to the Global Clients Unit Team Leader, you will provide an effective and efficient administration and processing service to underwriting, accounts, claims, credit control and brokers/clients, specializing in servicing complex Multinational Programs. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Responsible for accounts of medium to high complexity (i.e. complex reinsurance panels or captives structures). Review and interpret source underwriting materials regarding completeness of required information - including broker presentation, slips, underwriting files and accounts / claims experience – and if required, escalation to UW in case of missing information. • You will steer Multinational Programs globally. This may include providing instructions to all subsidiaries involved, finding solutions to any outstanding issues and addressing questions regarding cover and wording with UW. • Act as mentor / trainer for new joiners. • Use all relevant information to accurately and efficiently populate IT system(s) with new and renewed business. • Invoice customers and produce all relevant documentation, e.g. policies, certificates, endorsements to broker (or client), co-insurers, captives and re-insurers. • Compile standard and non-standard policy wordings. Regular reconciliation and discussion of content with UW and broker/customer. Authorization will be in line with level of experience. • Chase and reconcile premiums globally with all relevant partners, in close collaboration with Credit Control to ensure timely premium payment. • Proactively manage and priorities own daily, weekly and monthly workflow to ensure key performance indicators and service standards are met. • Monitor, maintain and follow up all accounts, escalating issues if required. • Develop effective working relationships with internal and external customers, including Underwriting, Accounts / Credit Control, Reinsurance Accounts, Clients and Brokers and attend relevant internal and external meetings. Regular and extensive exchange with clients regarding all account-specific matters. • System Super User or System Owner, representing the team in local and global as well as cross-functional projects; UAT sign-off authority; provide instructions for specific topics on a case-by-case basis. • In-depth know-how in respective Lines of Business, able to act as an Expert for specific subjects. KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE • Ideally 5 years’ experience handling multinational/global programs. • Ideally you will have completed a recognized insurance qualification • Good knowledge Microsoft Office applications (particularly Excel) and experience of relevant business applications and systems. • Sound technical knowledge of Corporate and Specialty insurance business, products, wordings, terms and conditions and coverage's. • Advanced understanding of policy administration life cycle • Excellent communication skills – proactive, diplomatic and able to build relationships with people at every level of the organization, globally. • Time management skills – able to priorities under pressure • Precision and an eye for detail ADDITIONAL INFORMATION At Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS) we offer the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with global challenges at the world’s leading P&C insurer.
