Markets Post Trade Technology is made up of over 2,000 colleagues and technologists operating across the UK, US, India, Czech Republic, Singapore, Japan, and Hong Kong. 
Our team includes;
Trade Capture - storing the economic and non-economic details in a trade repository for subsequent processing.
Life-Cycling - modifying the trade over the course of its life e.g. fixing, exercise, expiry, termination, compression.
Operational processing - settlement, confirmation, asset servicing, collateral/margin management and regulatory reporting.
Markets Post Trade also includes a number of cross asset utilities such as;
Markets Risk & Control - Front Office supervisory and surveillance
Trade Authorisation Controller - used to determine rules for trade eligibility and product classification for regulatory reporting, clearing and jurisdictional booking
Reference Data - data that is common across all systems e.g. Customer information, Book hierarchy - used for categorizing trades when generating risk and reporting the profit & loss, Instrument details e.g. Equity and Bond Instrument listings.

What will you be doing?
Your role will function as a business analyst for Equities Middle Office IT. You will be required to face off to key project stakeholders with the Equities & Synthetics Trading businesses. Within IT, you will be working with the development teams to ensure scope of requirements is achievable, requirements are clear and well-defined, test plans are comprehensive, and issues are resolved.
Your responsibilities will also include;
Serving as Equities Middle Office Technology Global Business Analyst, Subject Matter Expert, and Relationship Manager for all middle office applications.
In line with Business Analyst responsibilities, and Subject Matter Expert role, serve as primary point of contact and technology liaison on all Regulatory, Compliance, and Audit matters pertaining to the middle office infrastructure or requiring middle office infrastructure changes.
Full ownership and in-depth knowledge of application functionality required to train and on-board new users potentially unfamiliar with detailed workings of middle office applications.
Convert user or any Front office requirements to development ready JIRAs and explain the same to developers and QA members.
Coordinate end-to-end UAT and work with users and stakeholders to get sign offs on the new features and enhancements.
What we’re looking for:
Proven experience in the Investment Banking industry
Experience working with cash equities applications
Working SQL knowledge to independently perform data analysis
Strong verbal and written communication skills, together with well-developed interpersonal skills.
Skills that will help you in the role:
Agile experience
Full Business Analysis development lifecycle experience, working within IT, with proven delivery record and an ability to work in a demanding environment.
Experience of delivering projects through all phases of the SDLC
Capable of producing functional specifications that drive change and cross functional project plans
