What you’ll be doing...
We are seeking a highly energetic and passionate learning and development professional to lead our International Learning and Development Operations out of the Reading, UK office.
The Senior Manager will build strong partnerships and relationships with our natural HR teams, business leaders and clients groups. He or she will lead a team of client management and learning delivery professionals focused on creating and executing innovative and experiential learning solutions in the area of sales, service, and product and systems knowledge with a laser focus on creating a strong customer experience.
The Senior Manager plays an integral part in transforming our business by leading projects and programs tied to revenue growth, margin expansion and improved customer experience.
The candidate will:
Build partnerships and relationships with business leaders, HR Business Partners and client groups to understand their short and long term business objectives and consult on learning needs
Align training resources to support the achievement of objectives locally and regionally. This includes frequent travel to client locations across Europe, the US and APAC.
Lead a team in developing innovative, high-impact learning solutions for diverse cultural needs across EMEA and APAC. Direct and influence the design and development of those solutions when sourced.
Be responsible for setting direction, creating structures, streamlining processes, and influencing team behaviors that support effective and efficient execution of training programs
Inspire and lead trainers with consistent communication, coaching and ongoing professional and personal development
Guide team to execute on program strategies which include multimedia online resources and materials, use of social media platforms, and the development of experiential learning solutions across multiple client organizations to maximize genuine learner engagement
Be an expert in all aspects of the instructional development process (analysis, design, development, execution and evaluation) act in a Performance Consulting capacity to qualify all development/delivery requests
Assess existing training programs and methodologies to implement and transform content for increased engagement and efficiencies while improving performance goals
Support standard measurement techniques to understand completion rates by functional work group, training results and effect on department and business Key Performance Indicators. Track and share with stakeholders appropriate metrics on quality and effectiveness of learning solutions.
Budget Management
• Establishes and maintains budget based on business needs
• Monitors the budget to ensure spending is aligned with expectations
• Accrues budget expenses monthly
• Manages the budget to provide the right courses to the right participants at the right time
What we’re looking for...
You'll need to have:
Bachelor's degreeor equivalent required in Instructional Design, Education, Educational Technology, or related field.
Demonstrated proficiency in leading a team of learning professionals in client management, delivery and program management of learning solutions.
Strong planning and problem-solving skills and a successful track record of consultation and collaboration with business partners at all levels
Solid strategic thinker who can execute on innovative ideas
Ability to create momentum and inspire others
Previous experience developing and mentoring a high performing team
Sound judgment and decision making, critical thinking
Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation and professional speaking skills
Demonstrates energy, flexibility, creativity, and being a team player
Strong attention to detail, deadline driven and able to handle multiple projects from inception through execution.
